Sorry, I got some good rips coming, but I keep forgetting to take pics of the album art.

In the meantime, here is the debut Whitehouse record, recorded in 1980. If you enjoy getting your teeth drilled, want to feel like you're in a Saw movie, can listen to the Conet Project over and over again, or think Faust is too accessible, then this is right up your alley.
I guess if you like that stuff you already own this and this post is pointless. If you haven't heard it, their second record "Total Sex" is even more brutal, but I still like this one better.

The Agony!

  1. thanks for posting. I agree that it is much bette stuff thaer than that followed- and if having this album posted on a blog pisses William Bennett off, then even better.

  2. My fave is the 1984 release Great White Death, probably 'cause that's the first one I heard (the same year it came out - damn, I am old). Birthdeath is a sweet album but it's more like the first Ramones LP - a tight manifesto but hemmed in by lesser production values than the material which raged later. I know the phrase "production values" sounds silly in reference to this band, but I think WH fans should have an appreciation for silliness.

Good post! More like this... less NWOBHM.
